MindNode, celebrating 17 years, is updating its Manual Layout feature to allow free positioning of nodes while maintaining an automatic layout for all other nodes. This new approach retains flexibility, and user feedback is welcomed through a public beta. The changes aim for a more intuitive experience and are expected to be part of the 2025.4 release.

MindNode 2025.2 update adds Focus Mode, iThoughts file import, OPML import/export, and recent documents menu. Focus Mode enhances concentration on specific map areas. iThoughts importer improves migration from iThoughts. Revives classic features: OPML handling, basic printing, and recent documents access.
