The Silencer
The Silencer by Elevation Lab is a precision tool designed to permanently disable the speaker in Apple AirTags, preventing the device from chirping when moved or bumped outside Bluetooth range. Originally created to protect expensive bikes and valuables, it is useful for backpacks, electronics, and pets to avoid unwanted sounds. The process involves removing the AirTag battery, placing the device on a baseplate with the silencer, and using a hammer to apply the silencer, which is compatible with AirTag models 1 and 2 but may void the warranty.
